katt1584 46 Posted July 11, 2014 Can anyone who had to get their gall bladder removed post surgery explain what their symptoms were? I'm on my 4th day of diarrehea (as you all wanted to know) and every time I eat it feels like your stomach would if you had food poisoning, twisting and cramping. I have noticed the pain starts on the right and radiates through my entire stomach. I do not have the typical back pain or even the typical sharp pain...just painful all over cramps and the diarrehea. Has anyone experienced this?

Has anyone experienced this? For my preop appt I was told I have gallstonesFor the gallbladder it's directly related to your liver Pain is on the upper right of your body and it hurts like after you eat and the pain does not subside when you inhale and exhale to breathe It just sits in that spot like on the right side almost under your breast..and I also agree that if nothing goes away for sure see your physician
Snufflegus 80 Posted July 11, 2014 My pain would start anywhere from 30 minutes to 4 hours after eating. Usually later at night before bed. Diarrhea and sharp pain (hard to breathe) on the middle or right part of my abdomen were the start. Hot and cold sweats, no position was comfortable, sitting in almost a squat doubled over was the most comfortable. I did not have any gallbladder issues prior to surgery, but had my gb taken out at 8 months post op due to the pain. I told my surgeon the pain during an attack was worse than the pain I experienced waking up from sleeve surgery. If its uncomfortable dont question go to your doc to get it checked out.
