I think we might be talking about different Fiber crackers, I don't remember how many these had but it was more than 2gms. They were on sale at $1.99 or close. Same thing?

I bought popped cheese. Ewwwwwwwwww! Nasty! 1gm carbs, mega calories. 75 calories per serving but that is like 3 (max) pieces. It's the size of popcorn. It's a mega thumbs down.

Yes, the parmesan crackers are really good. I was disappointed in the amount of crackers in the package for the price though. I really like

Kellogs Garlic and Herb All Bran crackers. They are about the same amount of calories. I usually only eat about 4 or 5 at a time but they have much more Fiber in them. I am so tired of being constipated!

I am pretty sure the fiber crackers are the same ones. I could go and get them out of the garbage and read the back again, but the main point is they were so disgusting! I bet eating cardboard would taste better.

I am so excited that after a long plateau, I was down 3 lbs this morning!

Well i learned quickly with the parmesian crackers, get the serving out, leave the box in the cabinet. I can easily graze on those all day long and the calorie count isn't the best! So now they're all locked up in the cabinet and I get them out only to eat with salads. BTW tried the garlic with egg salad the other day, was very good!

Yes, it says for 3 crackers it's 80 calories. That's more than 25 calories per cracker. But they're so good!

Wow... got my order of veggie chips today and I really like them. I got them here:

http://www.jdfinefoods.com/

They might need a bit of flavor for some of you, (dips, fake butter, Peanut Butter, etc.) but I really like them. It's a GREAT snack and I have to say, for as much as I got I am very satisfied with the price.

I got 2 lbs of veggie chips (one container is for a friend of mine) and a four pack of dried fruit. The blueberries and apples are GREAT! Haven't tried the peaches or pineapple yet.

I'm totally impressed. If you are looking to get veggies in and just plain don't like them or can only eat crunchy things, I suggest this stuff.

Go to the above link, click on dried fruits. Go to page two and veggies chips are the very last item.

I feel like Scrat from Ice Age. You know, when he hunches over the acorn and squints his eyes and looks around?

I did, I like them. I got a four pack, apple rings (GREAT), peaches (GREAT), blueberries (GREAT) and pineapple (verrrrry sweet, a little goes a very long way). I also got veggie chips and I like them. There is a long brown thing in there that I'm not sure what it is but mostly the carrots and the brown thing taste very much like potato chips but I can't eat regular potato chips, that's an instant PB.

The peaches are ever so slightly sour, but not enough to be a big deal. Kinda gives them a kick.

BTW, you might want to get a four/six pack to make sure you like them. Not sure how price compares from a multi-pack vs. per pound, but I will be ordering this stuff by the pound from now on. At least stuff I know I'll like. I might try multipacks for stuff I haven't tried before.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
