Hi peeps! Two questions for everyone if you can answer..

1. I am 14 days post op (band to sleeve revision) and the largest incision is almost healed however the internal tissue surrounding the incision is super hard.. Does the density of that tissue minimize overtime!?

2. I notice many folks are experiencing stalls 3-4 wks out what did you do to overcome it?

1) Yes, the density reduces. At nearly 8 weeks out, I have no hard spots near any of my incisions. I think it took around a month for the hard spot near the largest incision to fade away.

2) Stick with your doctor/NUT's guidelines and it will break. My stall lasted nearly two weeks, and it was when I was able to eat soft foods and take in a few more calories daily that I started losing again.

Yesterday I was 3 months out as well and down 40lbs with multiple stalls. I'm just thankful the weight is coming off and I no longer have the pain I was experiencing with the band.

I'm almost a month out and the hardness under my largest incision is definitely softening up. Agree with infinite on stalls, just be patient when it happens and know that the sce will move again. I had a bit of a stall my third week - only lost about a pound all week, but then dropped 3 pounds already thus week.
