Kimber262 2 Posted July 7, 2014 I was recently sleeved on July 1st and I wanted to know if it's normal to still have so much pain on my left side. When I stand up it feels like it's pulling. It's also swollen and I have a lump. I haven't been able to walk that much because the longer I'm up the tighter it gets.
dsdesigna 143 Posted July 7, 2014 You need to call your surgeon. Although some swelling is normal, the pulling may be something else entirely
Sleeveless in seattle 208 Posted July 7, 2014 The stomach portion cut off was on your left side. Probably just normal healing but call just to be sure.
New Me Twentyfourteen 23 Posted July 7, 2014 I would call ur doc and get checked out. Very unlikely but could be incisional hernia. Better to contact doctor early. It's probably nothing but better to b safe then sorry ???? 1 ViciousVixen reacted to this

Heidi Anderson 8 Posted July 7, 2014 Kimber262 - how are you feeling otherwise? Everything go well??
Kimber262 2 Posted July 7, 2014 Other than that I've been okay. I'm getting all my liquids and Proteins in. I've lost 10lbs since Tuesday. I've only had to take 1 pain pill since being released from the hospital. I don't like the way they make me feel. I'm just behind on my walking. I literally have to crouch when I walk because of the pulling and tightness.
