Countdown to Onederland!

Recommended Posts

I always dropped about 2 pounds suddenly on every fill. I tell myself it's not the fill itself, I could probably do the same thing by not eating for 24 hour, just having one Protein Shake for the entire day I sip on off an on. I usually dont feel like eating right after the fill, and only allowed black coffee when I wake up and its a 5 hour round trip to my fill doctor.

I think you will drop with the fill, I did each time. I thought Id never get below 200 either, that was a hard weight to break below, then 80 was another one I stuck at, been in this 2 lb range for about 3 weeks too. I also plan a day of baked salmon when I get stuck, I nibble on all day. The extra Protein in salmon works for me. Or I have a shake for lunch which seems to work well for me. I up the protein to get out of a stall. I can eat a pound or so of salmon in a day which is obviously 1500 - 1700 calories, but it jumps my weight loss within 48 hours every time. I lost 9 lbs pre surgery, so I started in the 240s. You can break out of this stall too, just keep pushing the protein.

Thanks Flowers! I hope you are right!! I love salmon so I will give it a try!

Well, I made it to onderland back in November. I was down to 196 but the holidays came and went and my weight skyrocketed... So here I am again. I have 8 lbs to go to make it again and hopefully I will stay there this time.

That's what happened to me on my last fill. I ended switching between mushies and liquids for about a week afterwards.

Hello all,

I'm back and doing my countdown again. I hope to get this last couple of pounds off me to get to onederland. Somehow I lost focus so I'm back with a vengenance and a Wii Fit to help me get there. I will see you all on the other side soon.

I just tried cottage cheese and it did not stay down. How long did you stay on liquids after your last fill? Did the tightness pass?? I had my fill on Monday.

Hi I was wondering if you use the Wii Fit before? We just got one for Christmas. Have not used it yet but was wondering if you had and if you had seen any results because of it.

I was using it while I had steady weightloss results so I don't know if I contribute it to the Wii... But I would work up a sweat trying to do all the poses. Oh I loved the ski jumping it's hillarious. Works alot of muscles for sure even though it doesn't feel like alot of work.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
