I was at 206.6 today - so close to Onederland, but yet so far!!! I just had my first fill on Monday, so I believe that will propel me along! My surgery date was 3/24 so it seemed like a long time from surgery until my first fill date. So far so good after the fill!

I'm a very slow loser but I am ok with that. In the past 2 months I have been on a roll (slow-roll lol). I am closing in on onederland and wanted to join you all. I will be so glad to be under 200 again! :)

Congrats to all you new onederland members. I'm still working on joining you. I haven't been on the scale in a couple of weeks so I'm anxious to know where I stand. I don't eat a lot and I eat pretty healthy so hopefully I'm a couple of pounds closer. I will weigh in this week and let you know how I'm doing. Keep up the good work all of you and for those of you that are striving to get there we will do it together. I'll see you all on the other side of the 2's soon.

I did it!! I did it!! I haven't been under 200 lbs since 1996. And even then it was only for a couple weeks and boom, back up I went. This time, it's permanent. Woo Hoo!!

Aubrie, good for you...you and I have been losing weight at about the same pace...glad to see you made it.

I'm still struggling to get below 200, but I'm T-10 and counting!

10 pounds to Onederland and I'll get there if it kills me (well, it won't, but I'll be glad to be there!)

Congratulations everybody! I'm almost there I need to lose 5 more pounds and I will be there. I went for my one year check up after being banded and the nurse praticioner gave me some Breakfast ideas to help me get these pounds off. I will start eating egg salad and turkey bacon for breakfast tomorrow (breakfast is my hardest meal as it doesn't really interest me). I hope to be in onederland by the 4th of July too. I wish everyone continued success and for those of you on your way to onederland we will be there soon just remember good things come to those who wait. See you all on the other side of the 2's.

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
