Stephannie 300 Posted July 10, 2014 Thank You for sharing. I have avoided the amusement park the last 2 years for that exact reason. I had my surgery last month and look forward to taking my 9 yr old to the amusement park this fall. I made up excuses for 14yrs! I know you will feel amazing when you're able to get in! Best of luck on your journey!!! My kids said to me "I thought you didn't like the rides". I told them that for a very long time to avoid another embarrassing situation. Now I do everything with them and even took them to trampoline nation where they had a scale and nobody over 125 lbs could be in the little kid area. I proudly jumped on that scale with no shame and realized I was the only parent jumping with my kids. It was a good feeling to be right there with them. ALL THE BEST TO YOU!! 1 bella328i reacted to this

And just like everyone I struggled my whole life. Who would have known there was a sassy little size 2 under all of that. Certainly not me. My sleeve is more than I could have ever asked for. 1 bella328i reacted to this

That is WONDERFUL!!!! At almost 8 months out, I'm still dealing with one problem since surgery, but I don't regret it at all. Like you it's more than I could have ever ask for! I have a ways to go, but hearing from people like you and seeing your picture is truly inspirational!
HaddocksEyes 205 Posted July 10, 2014 I was too slow. I wanted to say the same thing as BabySheldon. The fact that you were restricted by your weight does not mean that you were not a great mother. Anyway, congratulations on your weight loss. Thank you. I guess I should say I feel like a more involved mom. we are always hard on ourselves as mothers..we just really love our babies, no matter how "grown" they get! I think that is an awesome NSV!!
