Mcbutterpants.....Wow! You were able to eat real food the night before? Amazing! I'm on a two week full liquid diet. No exceptions. Did you have to do the two week liquid preop diet?

Yes, I was on a two week pre-op diet - 2 Protein shakes and a lean and green meal (6 ounces of Protein and a green veggie).

I had a 6-week food funeral which resulted in my gaining 11 pounds at one of my final pre- op appointments. My surgeon was furious and made my pre op diet 3 weeks instead of 2.

That food funeral period made me extra ready to make big changes and I ended up losing 31 pounds pre op with Thanksgiving in the middle of it.

No regrets for anything ...
