Mine took about 3 hours and was in the hospital a whole week due to I couldn't keep anything down. Still can only have Water and juice. Can't handle protien shakes just yet

Mine took 2 1/2 hours RNY and cholecystectomy (removal of the gallbladder).

MIne was 3.5 hours, but he had to take down a Nissen Fundoplication - a previous surgery for GERD. Without that, he said it would have been 2 hours.
