Karen Scott 117 Posted August 25, 2014 So jealous.. Haven't ad a decent BM yet!! I get so jealous when I see people have liquid and I am over here like anytime now!!! I feel soooo bloated. it will come. Had surgery 8/29/14 I had a bm 4 days later but not the norm, it was runny (tmi) now I can pass down there freely. My problem is I don't know wen I am full so I drink a lot of liquids so I don't get dehydrated. A lot of spasms though. And medication makes me halleucinate. Stopped taking it. angieprks 19 Posted August 25, 2014 I too am on liquids until Wednesday. I do not feel full... And as painful as the spasms are, I'm glad to hear someone else is having them. I was beginning to wonder if it was hunger pains! I'm still having my head hunger. Is this an issue for you also? OMG the spasms are horrible!!! I had tried to lay in bed the other night and had to get up because they made my chest sore!!!! I beginning to wonder if it's acid reflux. I have been taking a PPI but I think maybe I will try a tums and see if that helps. Glad to know I am not the only one.

Thumper79 2 Posted August 25, 2014 I got my surgery on August 1st and have been on liquid since surgery.....so tired of liquid! I had a few bites of fish yesterday and it was great to get the taste of meat. I know that probably sounds so strange but I am so tired of sweet tastes! How soon did anyone try fish after surgery? I heard fish is the easiest to go down, that's why I tried it first

Miracle workers on the spasms... I was actually able to sleep for 6 hours before waking up to a spasm:-)

Unless you can't tolerate them, they are two of the densest and leanest Proteins you could eat.
Thumper79 2 Posted August 25, 2014 I don't really know why? Heard from a few fellow sleevers. They could only do dark meat the others got stuck.
amorga 35 Posted August 25, 2014 (edited) I don't really know why? Heard from a few fellow sleevers. They could only do dark meat the others got stuck. I got sleeved 8/12 and had some pureed chicken breast two days ago. Filled me up faster than anything else I've ate. We were taught that dark meat is generally easier to tolerate because its juicier, but you can do white meat if you can tolerate it. You just have to make sure to not overcook it as it dries it out and makes it tough. Same goes for beef. They also said to buy the more expensive cuts of beef as they have more marbling and are more tender. Edited August 25, 2014 by amorga
