chrissy72w 15 Posted August 4, 2014 Chrissy72w! We're tomorrow! We got ghis! Are you prepared? House clean? Bag packed? I have two toddlers so my house is never really clean, LOL. But it's as good as it's going to get. My bag isn't packed but I'm only bringing a robe, fresh undies, chapstick, tooth brush and paste. And maybe a book. I just want this day to speed by. And for those of you who said that their minds have been clearer, I have the same feeling. Maybe it's because all the gluten is out of me? Enlightened1....are you all packed? AHHHH......I'm so nervous!!!!!!
enlightened1 15 Posted August 4, 2014 All packed Chrissy! I don't have little ones at home so I have it easier than you. If you lived closer I'd come clean your house for you I've been nesting all weekend. Laundry, scrubbing floors, changing linens etc...can you believe it's tomorrow?? Ms.Becca 3 Posted August 4, 2014 I just want to say how inspiring all of your stories are. It is so nice to know that we are all in this together. Most of us are experiencing the same emotions and that makes me feel more normal. I don't feel like I'm the only one and that's real nice. Praise God for this awesome opportunity for a new and improved life, a healthy life.
LaceGirl 21 Posted August 4, 2014 My surgery is the day after tomorrow, August 6th. I've been through a six month program, and am in week 2 of my liquid pre-op diet. I keep reading about people who have done the surgery only to gain the weight back, the vicious cycle we all know too well. Am I doing the right thing...having the surgery? I've never been under anesthesia before and I'm terrified, don't want to chicken out, have been very dedicated to this plan but as it grows closer I'm having crippling fear of the actual surgery. Please tell me it's worth the risks! 2 Sandi in FL and enlightened1 reacted to this

I really want to stay true to myself and do wats best for me. I have a supporting husband and he stands by my decision. All I can say is pray about it, The Lord will let u find peace with whatever decision u make.

Karen Scott 117 Posted August 4, 2014 I can't find liquid Tylenol but I found the cvs brand of acetaminophen... Is this good enough it's for adults. Plus I also got the milk of magnesia to take the day b4. It's just the liquid Tylenol that got me bugged out. Can't keep calm I just keep looking at the calendar...nervous wreck

Please tell me it's worth the risks! LaceGirl, we are the same day! From what I have read, the majority of the ones who have gained weight back had had the Lapband. A lot of them had a second surgery to have the sleeve done. I'm glad we are going straight with the sleeve! I've had my second thoughts too, but then I know that if I could lose the weight another way I would have already done that. I'm so looking forward of not only loosing the weight, but loosing the diabetes, the CPAP, the sore joints, hypertension, the sweating, ... I could go on and on. What I'm going to gain makes it even more worth it to me, the energy, the confidence, the shock on some faces, the new stores I always wanted to shop at, least of all, the years I'm adding on to be with my family for as long as God will allow. Is it worth the risks? It is for me. 3 Karen Scott, Sandi in FL and mskiesha29 reacted to this
