madwife2002 110 Posted July 2, 2014 I have just viewed my test results on line and do not get to see my Surgeon until 7/10 They all look good apart from my Prealbumin which is 15 I read on line it shows poor nutrition and not enough Protein intake-I am taking around 75gms of protein in my diet Has anybody's labs shown this?? mwestcons 9 Posted July 2, 2014 Hi Madwife. I wouldn't freak out too much. Things like taking birth control pills can affect your level. If you are nervous about your Protein intake, double-check the amount of Protein in your shakes. Have you tried adding milk to your drink? This is an excellent way to add protein without adding bulk. gomekast 559 Posted July 2, 2014 I had that too. I had just finished taking 3 rounds of antibiotics so that's partly why mine was low. AnewMe44 1 Posted July 2, 2014 I just got my 3 month levels yesterday and my Dr said mine was low as well. But I wasn't getting in enough Protein. I kinda already knew this because my intake was between 40-70. She said I need at least 100. I am going to try to increase but it's hard for me to get in more.
