@@Josh2xh I plan on working out harder and hopefully I can tone up if that doesn't work I guess some skin surgery but that is far from my mind now something about that surgery doesn't put me at ease and also it's not all that loose

That is fantastic. I am really worried about the skin. It is really the only major concern I have even though I am more than a year from having to worry about that. I just know that its really important to help the skin retract while the weight comes off.

I am jealous that you arent worried too much. I studied the surgery options and they dont seem viable for me. But never say never.

Anyhow thank you for your reply.

Don't get me wrong i may not be worried but i'd be lying if i said i dont want it to go away. When i see the extra skin i just remember that i was 125 pounds heavier and then somehow i can move on. And the skin surgery does scare the crap out of me hence im not rushing to do it.

I agree very difficult to eat at a slower pace and extremely frustrating.. But what can you do. I also find it very difficult to eat in the moring and way easier to eat later in the day.. Is it the same for you?

I find it harder to eat on the weekends than during the week, I guess during the week is easier as I am more in a routine with work. I tend to eat Breakfast about an hour after I get up and cause I don't stick to the 'rules' I have Cereal most mornings. Certainly don't have time for anything cooked...

@@Unhappysleever, for Breakfast have you had a Protein Shake? It takes seconds to make in a shaker cup. You have got to help yourself as well to stay on track, or at a minimum see a professional to help you with your food and sleeve regrets. Having some peace in your day and life will work wonders for your outlook my dear. Wishing you daily peace.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
