cplatinumlove 3 Posted July 1, 2014 I just had my son and since the day I left the hospital I've been having stomach pain. I think my band may have slipped. I can't keep anything down and when I drink it even hurts and when I start to fall asleep I get night coughs, chest pain and today my back is killing me. I'm in a new state and now and I have medicaid! At one point during my pregnancy they tried to find me a bariatric doctor because I'd been complaining of not being able to keep food down from early in the pregnancy and the one they found didn't take medicaid. They were supposed to keep looking and get back to me but never did. I finally just pretty much did my pregnancy on ensure and drinks or whatever else would stay down. I don't know what I should do. 2muchfun 8,927 Posted July 2, 2014 You may have to use an ER to get the Fluid removed or see an X-Ray/fluoroscope to see your plumbing? If you can't pay the doctor yourself you have very few choices?
cplatinumlove 3 Posted July 2, 2014 I'm in the er now. Been here all night they won't remove the Fluid. I don't know what to say to them. They called my ob and she said to come into the office and she will try to get me seen by the bariatric dr they initially found but wouldn't take the medicaid. They are getting ready to discharge me. 1 2muchfun reacted to this
Irishflower79 183 Posted July 8, 2014 Have you have any success in getting any relief?
cplatinumlove 3 Posted July 8, 2014 Once they removed the Fluid I was fine. I talk the dr into letting me go home instead of removing the band the next morning. I want to give it some time to hopefully resolve itself so I won't have to get it removed. Seems like I'm always hungry now tho. I been trying to eat more fruits to satisfy me once I've eaten what I think is about what I was eating before.
