browneyedgirl1981 32 Posted July 1, 2014 I'm about 10 weeks out, and I'm still eating lots of greek yogurt, chicken breast, and Protein bars, and a daily Protein shake. I have eaten nuts a few times but they don't seem to sit well with me. I've also tried salads, and that was a terrible mistake. I'm SO tired of the SAME things every day. I do not like any kind of fish/seafood, so chicken it is, I guess. Even though I can eat more, I'm still not getting in the required amount of Protein. I'm seriously struggling and need any advice or suggestions you may have!
Bufflehead 6,358 Posted July 1, 2014 At ten weeks I was eating ground red meat, including beef, pork, bison, elk, etc. Also lots of turkey. Non-meat options such as cottage cheese, eggs, tofu, and refried Beans. Good luck to you!
MrsVanderbilt 29 Posted July 1, 2014 I'm 7 weeks postop. I can pretty much eat anything except tough meats. This is what a normal day looks like for me: Breakfast - Syntrax Peanut Butter Protein shake snack - Dannon Light & Fit strawberry yogurt lunch - Scrambled egg, Protein pancake, or some kind of protein from a restaurant Snack - Mozzarella cheese stick with pizza dipping sauce dinner - Whatever I cook for the family. Last night it was taco cups (flour tortilla in a cupcake tin, fat free refried Beans, with ground meat and a little cheese...baked). I was able to eat about 1 to 1-1/2 of them. I haven't been eating enough veggies, so i plan to talk to my NUT about it and tweak my eating plan.

par1959 470 Posted July 7, 2014 I enjoy steak. salad is OK but I consintrate or the vegtables not the lettuce. There are many things one can add to Greek yogart. I just tried Kellogs brand. Its tasty. There are a million ways to make eggs. I take eggs to work quite often. Standard is 2 eggs add one wedge of a flavored laughing cow cheese and I will shave in a very small amout of spanish cherizo for favor. 1.5 minutes in the microwave and Breakfast is served. If I were you I would start working on eating seafood. It is great when propery prepared.

Jersrose43 837 Posted July 7, 2014 I made chilaqiiles for dinner Take 1 rotisserie chicken and shred it (leftovers work great). About 1 cup more than enough Take 4 flour tortillas. Toast them in a pan (no oil). Brown hen just a little Rip them apart Place 1 tablespoon oil Ina pan Add ripped tortillas Then add your shredded chicken Then add about a cup of tomatillo salsa (I made my own) Then sauté for a few minutes Add two egas scrambled. I used whites so 4 whites Sauté and stir until eggs are Cooked through Serve Family enjoyed the dinner and I of course took this mixture on my plate and removed tortilla, puréed it with a little more tomatillo salsa. Yummy! I am cooking recipes for the family using ingredients I can eat and just purée my version 1 Girly24 reacted to this

sarah319 13 Posted July 17, 2014 I'm a week away from being 6 months out. Lately I've been eating nothing but chicken, turkey, fruits and vegetables! Been trying not to snack or eat any kind of breads/pastas. So far it's working out! 1 kpay10 reacted to this
socalsweetheart87 8 Posted July 17, 2014 I know you said you don't like seafood but try shrimp with old bay seasoning. I don't like seafood but the shrimp goes down so easy and feels good in my sleeve and packs a lot of protien 1 rashika reacted to this
