Fiddleman 4,376 Posted June 30, 2014 (edited) Read about all the great benefits that come from sufficient Vitamin d in your diet: http://www.muscleforlife.com/vitamin-d-benefits/ Amazing! I happen to take 5000 IU daily and have been doing so for the past 8 years (pre dates WLS). SherB 220 Posted July 1, 2014 I was just told yesterday that I am super deficient in Vitamin D. My number was only 13. I then read all of the issues you can have being deficient. Something to think about for sure.
LumpySpacePrincess 594 Posted July 1, 2014 I love my Vitamin D supplement. I'm on 50,000IU once per week and I can definitely tell the difference when I don't take it. My mom had been on intensive Vitamin D therapy a few years ago when she hit menopause and told me it was a great anti-depressant and anti-anxiety. I didn't believe her until my third week at that dose when I suddenly felt so much better. I don't know what anyone else has been told, but my NUT told me that unless you live someplace tropical and are outside all the time, you're probably deficient in Vitamin D, so its probably something almost everyone should be taking extra of. Sparklingbeauty53 202 Posted July 11, 2014 I took my supplement today! Thanks for sharing. I feel better for just reading the article to know I am on it!
Beckyyb93 225 Posted July 15, 2014 I'm also deficient in Vitamin D, I have sublingual D3 from Celebrate and am now taking 2 a day. It's not talked about much but adding in supplemental D can definitely help your body and make you feel a whole lot better!
