Shiner86 60 Posted June 30, 2014 Is there a sleep aid that is liquid, that works, is non addictive, and that your surgeon said was ok to take?
Josh2xh 70 Posted June 30, 2014 I have taken ambien for the past 2 years to get to sleep. The day after surgery I took up where I left off. I usually put it under my tongue to dissolve. The taste isn't bad unless you move your tongue about a bit. It takes abot 15 to 20 minutes to completely dissolve. Obviously this is not a liquid but it should suffice for your needs. Shiner86 60 Posted July 1, 2014 That's a great idea!! Also I wonder if they make liquid melatonin? That helps me sleep too!
IfICanDream 28 Posted July 1, 2014 That's a great idea!! Also I wonder if they make liquid melatonin? That helps me sleep too! My nephew takes melatonin, and he always just let's the tablet dissolve in his mouth. It actually dissolves really quickly, and he says there is no taste. It might depend on the brand though. My surgeons office totally okayed the benedryl, and it totally cured my inability to fall asleep!
