sma102205 22 Posted July 18, 2014 Had revision surgery 6/24.. And my MD said I will never feel hungry again.. I didn't believe him bc it doesn't sound logical and I was correct. I'm always hungry.. Not STARVING but certainly hungry .. I'm on regular foods and eating Protein I know I'm not getting a full 70grams.. I'm hoping as I gradually increase protein the empty hungry feeling will subside, thoughts?
tara76 3 Posted July 18, 2014 Sleeved 6/25, I've been adding some soft foods to my diet but really have to force myself to eat. I was progressing pretty well until 7/4 when I ended up back in the hospital with an abscess in my abdomen. Thankfully they took the last drain out Tuesday now just have to wait a week to have the picc line removed. On the plus side I'm down 21 lbs since surgery! feltond 6 Posted July 18, 2014 I also get hungry; however, I was told that drinking the 64+ oz of Water or liquid we need should do the trick with the hunger feeling.
