Susan909 52 Posted June 28, 2014 As anyone used the Bari Buddy pillow? I've seen it advertised and it looks like it could be useful after surgery. I had my gall bladder removed two yrs ago and used a Pillow Pet to support my stomach when getting up and it helped a lot.
JG7882 16 Posted June 28, 2014 I also want to know if anyone has used this pillow before I buy it.

bobheist 85 Posted June 28, 2014 I was given a little pillow when I had my surgery. I never really used it at the time, but it has been great for my back when driving long distances, lol.

Shells_Almost_There 357 Posted June 28, 2014 (edited) I looked at getting the bariatric bear, but ended up using a stuffed bunny that I already had. Definitely helpful to have a pillow/stuffed animal to help you through the early phase when standing up hurts like mad, and to create barrier between the sore tummy and the seatbelt on the way home. Luigi5144 29 Posted June 29, 2014 (edited) I've had several abdominal surgeries due to endometriosis. And honestly, the thing that I found helped the most was a folded up sheet stuck in a pillow case. The weight of it was perfect and was obviously easy to clean. A nurse showed me this post op many years ago. Edited June 29, 2014 by rossigrl84
