melissapishappy32 2 Posted June 27, 2014 So I am 7 weeks post op and having difficulty with the Vitamins. I have hunted for a good chewable Multivitamin and good chewable calcium citrate. I tried the non chewable but couldn't swallow without crushing them. I have tried chewable from Centrum and Twinlab and cannot stand them. Anyone know of any good tasting brands? pookybear 284 Posted June 27, 2014 I get the Target brand of Flintstones Complete. For Calcium, I get the Celebrate brand in Cherry.
microdot 28 Posted June 27, 2014 I use Twinlab, but I have also used Bariatric Advantage. https://www1.bariatricadvantage.com/catalog?gclid=CNXeze24mr8CFQWTfgodQgkAQQ
JanetteH 80 Posted June 27, 2014 I use a liquid (recommended to someone else on this site) - it's called Sea Essentials by Wellgenix - I get it online. Also use a liquid Iron - Floradix. Both taste pretty good.
Wayne Hunt 59 Posted June 27, 2014 (edited) So I am 7 weeks post op and having difficulty with the Vitamins. I have hunted for a good chewable multivitamin and good chewable calcium citrate. I tried the non chewable but couldn't swallow without crushing them. I have tried chewable from Centrum and Twinlab and cannot stand them. Anyone know of any good tasting brands? I can't really help with the multi, because I use the Centrum chewable. I'll probably swap to Flintstones or something "fun" when I run out of the Centrum. Mostly because it's time to change things up. As for my calcium citrate, I tried the Bariatric Advantage Cinnamon tablets when I first started but found them extremely chalky. On a whim when I was at my doctor's office one day, I picked up a bag of Bariatric Advantage 500mg chewables (the "candy" style) which are more like a caramel square. I figure I'd definitely end up eating 3 of those a day and it's easier than any chalky chewable, even if it's a bit more expensive. Chelly 364 Posted June 28, 2014 I use Flinestones complete for a multi. You chew two as an adult. I use Celebrate soft calcium citrate chews. They make several different flavors. I have also used the Celebrate berries and cream or cherry tart Calcium 500 plus calcium citrate. Good luck in finding something you like.

lcoon 5 Posted June 28, 2014 I have Bariatric chewable a from ProCare.com. My dr recommended them. Just hot them and tried one yesterday. Orangish flavor, a little chalky but not bad. A lot if Vitamins in one small tab and about 11.99 a bottle for a month.
mariodturner83 3 Posted October 8, 2014 I cannot stand chewables. They are utterly disgusting and make me nauseous every time. I have shifted to capsules from a different brand and they are really easy to swallow.

Larly109 19 Posted October 11, 2014 For Multivitamins, I switch between the Centrum chewables, Walmart brand kid's chewables, and NatureMade VitaMelts Fast Melting Tablets (found them at Sam's Club). I can tolerate the Centrum, but just barely. The kid's chewables are a tiny bit better, and the VitaMelts are the most tolerable - they have a fruity/tropical taste. I have tried several flavors from Bariatric Advantage and they are ok. For Calcium, I've tried the Bariatric Advantage brand and they are ok. I also have liquie Calcium from Wellesse that I found at Walmart. I saw a post on another thread that recommended Calcet Creamy Lemon Bites and I ordered a box from Amazon. They are not bad at all - both chewy and creamy. The chocolate and caramel chews from Celebrate/Bariatric Advantage are also better than others. I am also taking sublingual B-12 cherry flavor from NatureMade and quick dissolve Biotin strawberry from Nature's Bounty.
