Amour.de.lionne 63 Posted July 8, 2014 So glad to hear your good and well and that doc choi is great! I wanted to ask you, during pre-op did they do an endoscopy and colonoscopy on you? DR. Choi advised me to have RNY but I would like vsg. Why did u decide to get RNY vs vsg? I had to have an endoscopy to check for ulcers and damage caused by my heartburn, I had wanted Rny from the start and dr choi recommended it because of my bad heartburn... If I had gotten the sleeve I would of had to take omeprazole for life.... Hope that helps answer your questions.... Also a friend of mine had the sleeve and regrets not picking the Rny because of the slow weight loss I guess.... Good luck!
