mi75 1,235 Posted June 26, 2014 walking and moving. that is really the ONLY thing that helps. i have been trying to get up and move at least every hour since i've been home. move as much as you can, even if it's a couple laps around your home dwelling. it generally takes up to a week to excrete laproscopic gas totally. hang in there! Gr8fulMiniMe 66 Posted June 26, 2014 Walk around and move your arms and up down and side to side really helped me as well. Promise it will pass my friend!!
goproCameraOP 4 Posted June 26, 2014 Walk walk walk. You have to walk around to move the gas through your body... And drink lots of Water. Gas went away in 4 days for me. Best of luck!
Ima Fox 63 Posted June 26, 2014 I bought a box of GasX strips. It was recommended on a list I read of things you need. Sending healing vibes. Get well soon.

goproCameraOP 4 Posted June 30, 2014 How is everything going? Make sure you keep lotion (no fragrances) on your tummy to help heal and preventing too much scarring. Swelling will go down too.. Along with your tummy! It's such a great feeling. My stomach fat was the first noticeable difference.

Along with your tummy! It's such a great feeling. My stomach fat was the first noticeable difference. I'm doing well.. Had an emotional day yesterday just feeling overwhelmed but woke up today got through it and just pacing myself in healing. Yes I've been putting cream and notion on my incisions but keeps wearing off with my clothing, do you do anything to make sure the cream stays on? like cover with gauze? I cant imagine that would be recommended as we'd want to let it breathe.. just curious.. and enough bout me..how are things with you?
goproCameraOP 4 Posted July 1, 2014 I'm doing well... I just rub lotion on and keep my shirt off for a few minutes. and rub it in really well... Don't put lotion on open wounds though... Do you have a drain hole? That took the longest to heal for me. Then I have 4 small incisions that had surgical glue on them. That'll stay on for a couple weeks and slowly peel off as you heal. It's easy as pie now.... Just had some tofu. Went down well! I take in about 400-500 calories a day. Make sure you get Protein before anything!!! We should exchange email addresses. Id like to keep in touch! :-)
