AshleePage 65 Posted June 25, 2014 Guys, I am a skeptic, but I decided to try to get my pre op and post op Protein shakes and Vitamins covered by my insurance through insurenutrition.com and guess what??? I was approved and received my first shipment today! 4 cases of 18 premier Protein Shakes and a month's supply of liquid vitamins!!! No copay, no shipping & handling! Freeeeeee They will continue to deliver once a month during my prescription period. (Must renew with your surgeon every 7 months!) 6 Alex Brecher, oweemytoe, LoriDee and 3 others reacted to this
Kimteehee 21 Posted June 25, 2014 I just filled out the info. How long did it take for you to get approved? Did you have to call your surgeon r does the site take care of everything? 1 AshleePage reacted to this
AshleePage 65 Posted June 25, 2014 The entire process took about 2 weeks. I called my surgeon's office and gave them a head's up that insurenutrition would be faxing them a form to fill out. My surgeon was more than happy to oblige and is happy to be able to refer his clients to this awesome resource! I would call insure directly with specific coverage or process questions. They are quite helpful! Good luck!

Dee_RNY 43 Posted August 6, 2014 Just got an email from insurenutrition that they need more information to process further.???? All they want to know is if you want to add on some kind of scar cream if its also covered. That's it. Then 2 days later I got an email saying my insurance didn't cover it. They haven't bothered me since. Go ahead and call. You can say yes or no to the cream. Good luck.
