AllisonKara 46 Posted June 24, 2014 Nausea and vomiting is quite common after the bariatric surgery.Anesthesia given during the surgery is a common reason for nausea.Try and eat your meals very slowly and chew the food properly.This will not only give you the feeling of fullness but will also prevent food from getting stuck.Do not lie down immediately after your meals as lying down will increase your chances of heart burns.Also keep yourself well hydrated. Gas not to bad but waves of nausea any suggestions? it was bad for me the first night but by the next afternoon way better. Did they give you anything?
