ReadyNewM3 112 Posted June 24, 2014 Hi everyone! I had my sleeve surgery on sept 2013.... I reached my weight goal, and no diabetes or hbp meds! But, Im very concerned and want to know if anyone have vision or eye problems? I use eye glasses and contact lenses for long time ago....but 4 months after the surgery I began to notice a change in my left eye...Now its worse! My left eye crossed when I try to focus at distance....I saw 2 eye doctors and they cant tell me whats wrong with my eye! I'm desperate because I even drive my car.....anyone with this issue?! Thank you so much!!

JCsMamaBear 58 Posted June 24, 2014 There's an archived article that addresses vision issues after WLS on OAC's website. It talks about Vitamin A deficiencies as a possible cause (but you can get too much Vitamin A, which also has effects on vision). You may want to ask about having your levels checked.
