Recommended Posts

Good morning all!! It's 7:15 and I am en route to the plastic surgeon's office to have a breast lift with augmentation, arm lift an full tummy tuck! I am soo anxious and nervous! My throat is dry and hurts because I cannot even have a sip of Water. Today seems like a busy day, as I have read others are having there plastics done today as well! Good luck to everyone else who is having surgery today, just had it and those close to having it! I will try to keep everyone updated as I progress!!

Best of luck! Can't wait to hear about it!

Does insurance cover this? Just checking for when I reach my goal and need this surgery, too!

So I'm done at the surgery center. For some reason my hands look like lil sausage. Surgery went well took off with out a hitch. Pain is tolerable as long as I keep my medicine in. Doctor was extremely pleased with the outcome. I got the boobs I wanted 375cc. Thank everyone for the blessings and well wishes.

Happy for you. It will be worth it in the end. I'm hoping to have plastics next year.

Hope the pain eases up. Everyone always says day 2 is the worst but that it gets better after that.

Where did you have your plastics? And could I ask about how much it was? I'm also needing a BL/BA, arm lift & lower body lift or full Tummy Tuck.

I am sorry you are in pain...I really wasn't. ..I don't understand but there are big differences in pain management. I am sure you will start feeling better soon. Hang in There.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
