I am looking to talk to other people who have had the same surgery and get their intake on it. I am glad I did it, just have a few concerns about it. Any help would be appreciated.. kappy1418 10 Posted June 23, 2014 Hi I had my surgery on June 17 and I'm doing great the first couple of days were tough but I'm doing okay as I'm sure you are. I'm still on shakes I can't wait for the puree, the only uncomfortable thing is eating the crushed pills yuk! Recovery-wise, it's going well and knock on wood, no issues. it's been 9 days & Im down 7 lbs since surgery (46 lbs total) and another 100 to go--hard to be patient! 2boysmommy 20 Posted June 27, 2014 I'm taking chewable bariatric-specific Vitamins I ordered online. The brand is "celebrate". It's 2 Multi Vitamins a day, plus an Iron /calcium combo pill, and a Vitamin D (all separate) there's a questionaire on their website that gels you figure out what you need exactly.
