greensleeve 457 Posted June 21, 2014 I'm wondering if breaking my stall wasn't due to freaking hair loss! I'm shedding. I pulled a shirt out of the dryer. I guess I had brushed my hair before I put it in the wash. The whole shirt was covered in tangled and mangled hair. And it was my hair.
Pookeyism 1,143 Posted June 21, 2014 (edited) No. I have a friend that cuts off very long hair for wigs and even a thick ponytail does't add to a pound. You've broken your stall with effort! The hair thing will pass, as long as you keep your calories not ridiculously low and eat a variety of healthy foods. I recommend fresh squeezed juices or vitamix smoothies if you cannot yet hold solid food. Chelly 364 Posted June 21, 2014 I been taking Biotin since I could start Vitamins after surgery and I lose hair but not as much as if I didn't take it. Plus it helps with nails too.
JustWatchMe 7,117 Posted June 21, 2014 I cut mine a few weeks ago but alas, no change on the scale from that. I am losing my hair now though. I'm 13 weeks post op with a band. I have super thick hair so I'm hoping it won't be a big deal. I'm only on a daily Multivitamin.
greensleeve 457 Posted June 21, 2014 I meet my Protein goals, take Vitamins every day and take Biotin. It's just coming out like crazy but I can't see a difference thankfully.
Kitt3000 757 Posted June 22, 2014 Hair loss here too. Not sure for some of us, no matter what you take, Shampoo with, rub into your hair... It still sheds out! Good luck! (Me too!)
