skylarkx 69 Posted June 20, 2014 Travel mego, I had mine this morning and it was a piece of cake! I had an IV put in and went to the procedure room. They put electrodes on my chest to monitor my heart. The worst part was the tiny cup of thick liquid I had to gargle and swallow , it was pretty nasty. They then put Demerol in my IV drip and I was out if it!! They also gave me a drug so that I wouldn't remember anything and the next thing I knew I was back in my room like nothing ever happened! keish_lorraine 190 Posted June 21, 2014 I had my endoscopy back in February. I just had my medical clearance appointment yesterday, June 20th. I can expect to have my surgical clearance in 2 weeks...then I'll be given a date for surgery. I was told that it'll like be in late July or early August.
