Who Dat 70461 331 Posted June 17, 2014 I wouldn't worry, this is just a stall. I went through some weeks with zero loss, only to turn around and have great results the following week. Keep doing what you know to do, i.e. stay active and eat smart...the lbs. will drop. By the way, 42 lbs. in 53 days is phenomenal! Give yourself a little credit! Good luck! 1 jajmj reacted to this
Fullofitx3 146 Posted June 17, 2014 I don't think your doing anything wrong 42lbs is a lot and you should be proud, just keep following your drs plan and try not to worry about to much about the scale, focus on how your clothes fit looser and how much more energy you have. fat_free 463 Posted June 17, 2014 That's more than 20 lbs a month. As my nutritionist said to me when I brought up the same concern....when was the last time you were able to lose X lbs in a month. Yup...my response was never. Put it all in perspective for me. You are doing fabulous - I hope I can do as well as you at the two month mark
MFoster9812 24 Posted June 17, 2014 I have similar numbers as you....I was sleeved on April 24th as well and have also lost 42lb..........keep up the great work
ejjohn 12 Posted June 17, 2014 I am right there with you. Sleeved April 14th and thought the fat would just fly off my bones. Weighed 251 the day of surgery and 223 today. I am pretty strick with myself. 800-1000 caloried a day. 1 Protein shake for Breakfast - cottage cheese for lunch and grilled chicken and veges for dinner. I usually have low fat cheese as a snack in the evening. I also like cucumbers for some reason. I wish they could really figure out what causes some people to lose quickly and some to lose slowly. I also have hypothyroidism and take .2mcg replacement a day. I'm sure that doesn't help.
re14768 72 Posted June 17, 2014 You guys are doing way better than I am.was sleeved 4/15..starting weight day of surgery 242lbs. .As of today. .down only 17 lbs. .so I'm losing extremely slow. Have hypothyroidism. .tired of stressing about the slow weight lost. I guess it will come off when it's ready. Body is holding on to every fat..especially since eating low calories. .keeping fingers crossed. That the surgery will work.
ejjohn 12 Posted June 17, 2014 hang in there re14768!! The surgery has to work. The math is there. Calories in - calories out = weight loss !!!
