tammie30 43 Posted June 16, 2014 How long after surgery can I get on roller coasters ? I'm getting surgery July 7th and my birthday is July 30th.. Anyone has a clue ???
Chelly 364 Posted June 16, 2014 You should ask your surgeon if that's okay because they are the only one that can give you the okay for that. IMO you won't feel like it that soon after surgery. The pressure on your incisions will be bad and could hurt or do damage. Once again ask your surgeon if it's okay. Can't emphasize that enough.

Yippyia 1 Posted June 17, 2014 (edited) I would say that would be a no go! I am just over two weeks out and although I am feeling better finally, I would not want to get on a rollar coaster in another week. You'll still be sore and quick movement is not something you want to feel around you incision site! Edited June 17, 2014 by Yippyia
pookybear 284 Posted June 17, 2014 It definitely depends on your doctor and your recovery. He will probably tell you if you feel up to it, go for it. It all depends on how you feel at that time. I had virtually no pain and no complications so I would've done it. Some other people I wouldn't recommend it for.
tammie30 43 Posted June 17, 2014 Thank you ladies.. I'll be consulting with my doctor.. I recover pretty quickly I had 2 c sections in less than 3 years I healed in a week.. I also has breast reduction. That was major surgery,, I also healed within a week or less.. But I'll be speaking with my doctor because all surgeries are different 1 Marathongirl reacted to this
Ginger Snaps 1,323 Posted June 18, 2014 I agree about the doc and I'm glad you're checking with him. My guess would be no because those coaster put a lot of g-force on your body... not just internal but external. They older I've gotten the harder I've found it to be to catch my breath on the really fast coasters. And I don't even have any pulmonary issues. That with the Jerky action -- I'm thinking probably not.
