I had my surgery on June 10 2014. Everything seems to be going well for the most part. Every couple hours I have shooting pain in my upper stomach and chest. It does not last long. It may hit me two or 3 times and the vanish for hours. Is this reason for concern? The whole leak thing terrifies me.

Thanks

I was sleeved on 6-11-14. I get pain in my upper stomach that lasts only a few seconds. Mainly after I sleep for the night or nap. But i thought it may be gas. I walk every 2 to 4 hours this seems to relieve all types of gas. upper and lower Call your Doctor to be sure!

Gas, plus stitches on the inside.... all normal pains. If you feel any hardness, any debilitating pain accompanied by fever or what have you, please see a doctor and as always consult your surgeon's office with anything serious!

Thx guys

I've been taking my temp often. It bounces between 97-99.

This morning I stepped up my walking to almost one mile. It feels good getting out. My wife got on to me about it being to much. I hope I did not over do it

I was sleeved on 6-9-14 and I also wake up with this weird pain in my stomach and my chest that feels like gas but it only lasts for a several seconds and then it goes away. I'm scared of a leak too. I've had to take care of patients that have had that complication and it's just horrible. As long as we stick to the diet we will be fine.

Hohmanf, imagine that! Your surgery was the day after mine. I believe we chose the best surgeon in the area, he came highly recommended.
