You look great!! Do you mind revealing your starting weight?

270lbs

Thank you so much for saying sweet things. It literally has taken hard work, dedication and surgeries to get to this point.

I started off my journey by admitting to people my weight, which was 270lbs. Only after I began admitting the truth about my true weight, being honest with myself and to other people, could I began to make successful life changing transformations.

I remember getting the scale, calling my husband and stood on the scale. SCARY! After that, it got easier to be honest about my true weight, which enabled me to be able to get help and thus make positive changes.

Does he give estimate by email since he is not on the US?

Great Question:)

Dr Victor Gutierrez is well known for responding very quickly to his emails and giving estimates. There are several ways to contact his office.

Just click on the big Blue "Message" box on his web site:

http://www.dr-victorgutierrez.com

You may also go to Dr Victor Gutierrez page on RealSelf and click on "Get a Free Consultation". While there read all the wonderful reviews and look at the before and after pictures of real patients who are also overjoyed about their plastic surgery and their absolute wonderful experience.

You may also contact him by telephone:

619 is also a San Diego area code unless the country code was different. So you'll still be calling into the US.

You are exactly right. He has a San Diego phone number, so anytime you need to contact him, international telephone service is not needed. We can just make a toll-free or a US phone call directly.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
