I have had the lap band for a little over 4 years now and have experienced my ups and downs with this process. I initially went from 360lbs to 190lbs but after having a baby, I am now back to 240 and cannot get back on track! It seems chocolate is my current addiction :) Being that all of my friends are naturally thin and athletic, I don't have many people in my current life who can understand my struggles. Therefore, I would like to meet fellow banders in the area, around my age (31), who want to attempt and tackle this journey together in efforts to stay on track!

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
