I know I will be needing Plastic..probably a Upper & Lower Body lift...I think it might cost around $15,000. In addition to my full time job, I got a part time job to save up for some type of down payment...I'll probably have it in 2-3 years.

I want the same thing done. I am so sick of my chest size. 32H, and it just is painful. Tummy is smaller than pre-sleeve but still has the gross double gut thing going on, where it looks like a letter "B" from the side.

I am trying to work up the bravery for a consult.

$15,000 is huge! I don't know about you guys but when I lost my first 200 pounds back in 2004 my insurance company paid for my Tummy Tuck bc I was getting skin infections. You can totally ask your dr to submit for authorization as long as it's documented that it is a medical necessity. That's what in going for again after I lose my weight.

So you need to go to a dr to document it. It should be covered by your insurance!

Luckily I do not have to worry about the breast reduction but my poor tummy needs severely tucked. I have been very pleased with the way everything else has snapped back into place with the assistance of working out. I hope as I transition from lean muscle building to more bulking that it will help the skin even more.

I keep telling myself that I need to adjust my goal weight a little lower and reach it before I even consider a consult, we shall see.

It is a group fitness class that my gym offers called Les Mills BodyPump. It is a low weight / high rep class. You are really able to tailor the class to your level of fitness based on the weight you use. There are a lot of gyms that offer it.

It has really helped my thighs, arms, and chest.

Now I am working towards more bulk so I have switched to a routine called 5x5. Pump really helped me build a good base for 5x5 as all of the routines in 5x5 are in pump.

I am wearing what I consider body armor. Shape wear. Something to hold my skin together, I hope it works

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
