I had my bloodwork done 2 weeks ago should I have gotten a call from my surgeon/Dr regarding results?

Or do they just let it go so long as there is nothing seriously wrong that I'll have to get more testing for?

I usually think No News is Good News. I normally do not worry unless they call.

Yeah That's what I figured, I'm just worried because I see everyone else having to jump through more hoops them me (Cardiologist,Sleep Test..) and I worry that my process has gone too fast and maybe I won't be approved because I finished everything too quickly?..LOL which is silly I know, But still.

The only time I got calls after my tests is when there was a problem and I needed re-tested.

Generally they only call if something is bad!

My surgeon's office put my test results online. And I would get a little email telling me my test results were in and would log in to see that my results were normal or that my blood type was B+ and that I was not pregnant (LOL Duh!).

My regular PCP called to tell me I was diabetic a few years back (which made me feel instantly sorry for myself and drove me to eat ice cream). She also called me earlier this year because I got my HgA1C down from 9.1% to 6.1% in three months which she told me was unheard of. I just did what I needed to do in order to have my surgery since my surgeon's cut off for HgA1C is 8% Any higher than that and you have to go through remedial classes before they operate!

I'm with Kaiser so once they get the results back in get an email. Only time my at ever called is if something was off.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
