Patk 18 Posted July 1, 2015 I'm from Biwabik and have my first appt. in Duluth July 28. Had stomach stapling in 1982 had good results but gained weight back. Back then there was no pre-op or post-op teaching or follow up. I have learned so much with a recent visit to a dietician that I didn't even know. KristinaF 5 Posted October 11, 2015 (edited) Well, I'll be joining Team Revision on October 29th. Found out my lap band was leaking in July after trying to figure out why I was gaining weight despite still eating and exercising the same. Began the process of revision to the sleeve. Got the approval on September 15th. Looking forward to getting this weight off and getting my body back. Will have Dr. Bettendorf at Essentia Health in Duluth. We the group plans the agenda and bring in topic speakers. Would like to meet some folks from near by as well, since you all are closer than our local (Milwaukee) group.
