Feeling fine, weight loss seems to have slowed down. I haven,t changed what I eating. Feeling a little frustrated :(

I didn't lose a thing all last week - finally lost again yesterday! Feeling great and went to the gym today - doc said I had to wait 3 weeks - probably won't be able to walk tomorrow! Haha!!

Ok tue was my dr appointment ..

I am as of may 30 I weighed 357

And today 18 day as of June 18 I weighed in at 328

My skin is dry I td him he suggested I start fish oil so getting some ..

Told him that the Pepcid was not working for my heart burn and I started taking Pepcid and nexium and it seem to do the trick .

Also started taking stool softeners 2 days ago just had my first bm he thinks that once I get regular the heart burn will go away ..

hi everyone... week three was ok.. getting used to the hunger.. the craving.. but taking it one day at a time.

Is it normal to be hungry all the time after week three ? I was hungry all the time before surgery thought it would leave

Sweet 285 is my official weight it looks like so from may 30 surgery day 357 weigh in to oct 7 weigh in at 285. I was hoping for 275 but still a great birthday present for me :) so my total weight loss to this date is 72 pounds very excited .       Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
