crystal103002 5 Posted June 11, 2014 My name is Crystal, from Louisiana. I'm 29 married with 2 kids. In the last year I've been especially down about myself and my weight. I've always struggled with my weight but it got out of hand this past year at my heaviest weight of 225. After a few months of talking about the possibility of having a sleeve done me and my husband finally came to the conclusion that I would have it done. I had my first appointment in April and was scheduled to have surgery on June 2nd. It has now been one week post op and I'm feeling great and have so many questions! Went for my one week checkup and lost 11 lbs. Not sure if that's typical. Also I am surprised at the amount of energy I have. On top of cleaning everything in my house like a crazy person, I am also walking no less than 1 mile a day. Would love to talk to ppl that understand my new journey! 3 blondiebabs, woo woo and marielisa70 reacted to this

Terribj 208 Posted June 12, 2014 I didn't feel like myself until about 10 days out. I cried for the first 5 asking myself "what did I just do?" But now 3 months post-op, 45 pounds down, from a size 20 to a 14/12...it's all worth it! YOU ARE WORTH IT!!!! 2 crystal103002 and BeagleLover reacted to this

BeagleLover 1,020 Posted June 12, 2014 I needed to read this. I had my surgery on June 9th and I don't feel great. I can't explain why but I don't. This is your 3rd day out-- it takes awhile to heal. Meanwhile, just make sure you're drinking as much Water as you can and getting as much Protein as possible. The rest will take care of itself! 1 crystal103002 reacted to this
