Pnut&Bull 12 Posted June 10, 2014 My first visit was a seminar in March, which you have to go to before even getting your first appointment with the surgeon, then I had my official visit with the surgeon three weeks later. I am now at the end of all the pre-op requirements; EKG, upper GI, 6 week lifestyle change course, two support groups, blood work, psych exam, and sleep study. I meet with the Director of surgery on June 25th for final sign off and then about a week later I meet with the surgeon, get my surgery date, submit to insurance and wait for approval. I am thankful for all the pre-op requirements because it has made me 100% ready. I am hoping for a July surgery date. 1 blondiebabs reacted to this
Dreamin Again 112 Posted June 11, 2014 The waiting is the worst part imo. Good luck!
