Sleeveless in seattle 208 Posted June 10, 2014 It's ok and it's normal. Follow the plan and it will pick back up! Your body is still recovering for surgery. 1 skinnygirlwithin reacted to this
skinnygirlwithin 693 Posted June 10, 2014 you have just gone through a major organ surgery... just follow the diet plan your NUT & Doc put in place for you... everyone goes through some kind of stall or period of time without weight loss... your body just has to catch up... it will happen... just make sure you are getting in your Water & Protein every day and start walking. Good Luck!!!
McButterpants 2,846 Posted June 10, 2014 Be patient - you're recovering from major surgery. Your body is trying to figure out what you've done to it...You've had surgery and you're eating/consuming close to nothing. My suggestion is to weigh yourself once per week (more if you can stand it). The scale is not your friend right now. Take this time to heal and take care of yourself. Your body will react when it's ready - and that timeline may be different than what your mind wants it to be. 2 1959JimmyJames and skinnygirlwithin reacted to this
sleeved215 23 Posted June 11, 2014 I am 3 weeks post op and have had no weight loss since week one. I totally understand your frustration! My first week out I lost 12lbs then nothing for 2 weeks then when I didn't expect it I lost 6lbs the 4th week, 4lbs the 5th week and 3lbs the 6th week, so the weight will come off! When I was dealing with my stall I assumed the surgery wasn't going to work for me but like everyone here suggesting, be patient! Good luck
