Jboyd2014 31 Posted June 8, 2014 My surgery is booked for August 4 and here are some things that I can't wait for or even imagine doing! 1. Crossing my legs 2. Putting on shoes/ runners without discomfort 3. Wrapping a normal towel around me and it fitting 4. Not wearing a seat belt extender on the plane 5. Not worrying about sitting on camping chairs 6. Not worrying about bumping into people 7. My knees not hurting when I walk 8. Loving walking my dogs it's dreadful now 9. Not being ashamed and wondering if people are talking about me 10. To love my body instead of hate it 11. A better relationship with food I currently hate food and what it does to me 15 erint2014, ADDena, Moni_0330 and 12 others reacted to this

Moni_0330 27 Posted June 9, 2014 J Boyd 2014 - You have sooooo much to look forward to. I never imagined meeting any of the goals you've listed but I have in less than 3 months. I was sleeved on March 19 and have lost 65 lbs so far. Hopefully that gives you a little sneak peak of what to expect. Best of luck to you on your journey! ! Tamlyn 107 Posted June 13, 2014 In addition to all those fabulous things, I am looking forward to not getting squeezed when I sit in booths in a restaurant. (And not having my boobs sitting on the table in front of me! That'd be nice. I'm tired of the three of us having lunch together!) And for the arm rest in my car to go all the way down. And to wear something besides black stretchy shorts and Just My Size tee shirts in the summer. Most boring summer wardrobe EVER! Also, I want to get into my husband's pants. Like, literally. I've never been small enough to borrow his clothes, and I SO want to! 2 SwanRose and braninem19 reacted to this
Momma J 53 Posted June 13, 2014 Congratulations on you date and the day that will be a new beginning. Follow your Doctors order and the plan, it does work! Try not to sweat the stalls, they are normal. There will be lots of firsts and things to look forward to! Enjoy the journey and the milestones! This will change your life in so many ways! I was sleeved in September of 2013 (my new life birthday). I don't regret having the surgery for a second. I'm down 116 pounds and 22 pounds from goal weight. I love the fact that I got to cancel the Lane Bryant/Roamans credit card. I can buy clothes anywhere! I cried in Kohls when a large fit me! The space between and table had me in tears also. The icing on the cake has been in the last 2 weeks. I have had 2 people that I have known for over 10 years walk past me and didn't know who I was until I spoke! Best of luck to you and a speedy recovery! Use this sight, it has a wealth of knowledge and SUPPORT! 3 RayJunCayJun, erint2014 and Tamlyn reacted to this

mi75 1,235 Posted June 13, 2014 i look forward to NOT being asked by my clients "When are you due"? (and having to tell them, 'i'm just fat')... I'm SO looking forward to doing things with my kids, and taking a much-delayed family vacation where I can do more than just watch. 3 Jamie Harris, Tamlyn and Erikanbmws reacted to this
