kimtoomey 1 Posted June 7, 2014 I had the sleeve on June 3rd. It says you can have black coffee. Since I am able to add milk to a shake can I add it to the coffee. Also I can use Splenda as a sweetener. What do you all think?
Who Dat 70461 331 Posted June 7, 2014 I would think it's okay, however you may want to check with your Dr. or nutritionist...just to make sure. I started drinking Decaf a few days after surgery, then real coffee again (the leaded stuff, no decaf! ) at about 5-6 weeks. Some folks tolerate it fine and others have issues. Good luck and Godspeed on your journey!
LumpySpacePrincess 594 Posted June 7, 2014 I add 1/2 cup of 2% milk and splenda to my espresso every day. I will say its beneficial to make sure you've had at least 16 ounces of Water for the day before your coffee because the coffee is very acidic so you want to make sure your stomach is hydrated enough to handle it. I get stomach aches if I drink coffee before I've had Water in the morning. 1 #9grammy reacted to this
McButterpants 2,846 Posted June 8, 2014 I had milk in my coffee once it was approved. I just didn't put milk in my shakes on days that I put it in my coffee.< /p>
