dallasreno 8 Posted July 22, 2014 My surgery is tomorrow. I feel really weak and tired today. I think that is due to the liquid diet I have been on. I have to report to the hospital at 5:30am. Maybe it will happen before I am fully awake and have time to think about what I am doing. I am not very nervious yet. Hope I stay that way!

Yasman 195 Posted July 23, 2014 HI, I had my surgery last monday and I'm 23 lbs down from the weight taken at hospital intake, 13 lbs loss from the preop official last weight taken by the bariatric team i'm working with. that's pretty impressive for 8 days. i'm ready to be off the liquid diet but since it's been so effective i am able to stick with it till friday when i can start on soft foods. my scale came today and wouldn't turn on. argh! chrrus 2 Posted July 23, 2014 (edited) I was sleeved yesterday. My doc said my surgery was textbook, and I didn't even have any pain meds after. Little gas and nausea right after surgery, but nothing unmanageable. Now I'm home working on sip sip sip, walk walk walk. Brandi Susan 0 Posted July 25, 2014 The pre op diet is very hard but for me it got much easier after the fourth day. I'm also having mine at ecmc with dr. Carauana on Monday. Good luck to you. Dr Carauana is doing my surgery on Monday the 28th. The pre op diet is also difficult for me. I know it will be worth it in the long run.
