Cass81 10 Posted June 7, 2014 I am scheduled for my first consultation for the sleeve. Nothing is set in stone and I'm pretty sure this is what I want to do. One question I have is for any of you who have had it done- have you noticed an increase in your libido since surgery- when you felt up to it? I have noticed that the heavier I have gotten, the less desire I have and I'm wondering if that is something that will change after. 1 baribetty reacted to this
BellaHugz 331 Posted June 7, 2014 oh yeah As you loose weight your confidence builds up and of course you will feel sexier too! So i think that answers your question... Hope that helps.
wynblade 14 Posted June 8, 2014 A lot of people do. Our body stores hormones in our fat cells so after surgery the rapid weight loss will actually force those stored hormones back into your system. This is part of the reason peoples emotions go kinda rollercoaster for a while... But the other effect is a major jump in sex drive.
SugarTea 15 Posted June 9, 2014 I would say yes, when you really begin to feel well enough again and your confidence soars.

skinnytiff 49 Posted July 6, 2014 Yes and no. I am 2 1/2 yrs out, when I started loosing lots I wanted to have it all the time. That was the honeymoon phase after surgery. Now after 90 lbs gone, yeah I like to have it but not all the time like it was the first year. Its like things have mellowed out. I actually got diagnosed with low testonrone, so I am on a compounded cream to help with that. Sex is a heck of a lot better without all the weight though!
