I've never even seen them before. I'll check the link. You be the brave one and try them out and then let us know how they are. If they're selling them, somebody out there has bought them and tried them. Now, we just have to find out who.

Just by glancing briefly, I can tell you this not a complete Protein product. It mentions 19 amino acids and I'm pretty sure our body uses at least 22 different ones for basic cell building and function. Which ones are missing? The term "predigested" is vague, too. How are they processing it? Is it hydrolyzed Protein? What's the actual Digestibility and absorbability of the product? What is the source of the amino acids? My leather belt is 100% protein but it sure isn't very nutritious. I'd want a lot more info from the manufacturer before relying on this as a protein supplement.

Don't get me wrong, it could be a great product...I'm just always a little skeptical with new products until I know more about them. Been there done that with too many "miracle weight loss" supplements. ;)

Just thought it was interesting.

I don't know much about the product other then what they show on their website (you can see more nutritional info on a computer vs. You're phone screen) but if anyone is going to their NUT visit sometime soon would you mind running this product past them and seeing what they say?

I had my pre-op class this week and someone asked about this and our NUT said it does not give you the proper Protein we need and does not recommend it.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
