Pac-woman 325 Posted January 18, 2015 (edited) @@blondiebabs @@purrfctangel It is hilarious, frustrating, and exhausting to be an upside down turtle. I didn't know whether to laugh, cry or feel sorry for myself. (all the above) I would wiggle to the left, right and got no where. Used legs and arms, and plop back down. (all this while trying to avoid pain). And finally, FINALLY when you give in, you are exhausted and yell for help. LOL So glad I am over that hump. Now I just get out of the chair and sit in one as if I am 90yrs old. I am in granny stage now. Edited January 18, 2015 by Pac-woman
blondiebabs 214 Posted January 18, 2015 @Pac-woman I hate to laugh, but I just imagine myself looking like an overweight pug flopping around trying to move, you give a great description. I'm glad it's getting better, soon you'll be in turbo mode! =D
BloomingLotus 179 Posted January 18, 2015 I'm doing this alone too, but I'm confident that I'm prepared as I can be! I'm using the visiting nurse program to take me home after surgery. They're reasonably priced as well, so if I do need help later, I have that as an option.

blondiebabs 214 Posted January 19, 2015 @@Pac-woman Oh my gosh!! What a cute pug!!! Funnily enough I just got home from seeing the movie Wild, and there is a part where she's trying to get up with her super heavy pack and rolling on the floor legs up and looks like an upside down turtle and I'm pretty sure I am the only one who laughed at it hysterically because it made me think of this convo!
