Hello everyone! I have been silent for awhile, but happy to say I am back with a set surgery date of June 25th! Three weeks! I am so excited!

My surgery is set for the 25th and because I'm a nervous wreck I broke down and got cigarettes and now I'm an even bigger wreck! Ughh

Had my procedure on the 25th and going home today. I feel remarkably better than i thought. My gas was the biggest issue and thankfully it started to pass last night. I have walked a lot while in the hospital as they recommended. Swallowing is good and my stomach is handling the liquids with minimal ache. Not hungry, never thought I'd say that!!

A bit nervous about leaving here and going home but they keep saying how great I'm doing so that helps my confidence. So glad i have the surgery over with and starting my new way of life!!
