Bmjohnson 84 Posted June 4, 2014 My suregery date was MArch 20, 2014. About two weeks after surgery my mother in law had given me several outfits that were 1x in size. Day of surgery I was a 3x. In the last couple of days I have been able to comfortably fit into these 1x clothes and I almost cried. I did dance. 10 lisacaron, Jim1967, jmac004 and 7 others reacted to this

terrydumont46 1,954 Posted June 4, 2014 it truly is so amazing to go into the closet and fit into everything. and most things are big. I swore I would wear what I already had through at least 4 seasons. so far I have had clothes to fit into from needing a 4x to now 1x or even large tops. but if summer doesn't finally rear its beautiful warm days I may have to buy something. I am sitting here in sweats to big but all I have. but I do have several pairs of shorts and sundresses just waiting in the closet. come on summer. I am loving nsv much more than the scale. 2 Bmjohnson and Bandista reacted to this
Bandista 7,466 Posted June 5, 2014 Nice mother-in-law! You'd better start thinking about XLs cause that's where you're headed next. I was wearing 2x tops six months ago and now I'm sitting here in a large cotton long-sleeved v-neck I bought on sale, so exciting! More like a Miracle. 1 Bmjohnson reacted to this
nomorejellybelly 77 Posted June 14, 2014 Way to go! That's awesome. I remember when I had the surgery, seeing on the lapband site forums, how it was a good idea to buy clothes at thrift stores, while you're losing. It saves a ton of money on clothes that you won't wear for very long. I have a couple of good shops that I go to and I still go to them, because I kindof got hooked on them. Now, since I'm losing again, I'll need to start finding some smaller sizes soon. Good luck to you.
