lisi287 4 Posted July 31, 2014 I was sleeved on 3/19 and have lost 60 lbs. I am feeling better and I'm not so stressed anymore about what I'm eating, how much, when, etc. I felt like I was always thinking about food and trying not to mess up. I hate Protein, always have. I haven't been able to drink any Protein Drink so I just stick to my meats and milk, cheese, etc. I also eat special K Protein Cereal sometimes for Breakfast. I am addicted to watermelon since surgery..it just tastes so refreshing and juicy. I loved it before but now its just wow! lol ...I only drink Water and gatorade sometimes. I use wraps for sandwiches but won't eat it all mostly to hold everything together..I've been feeling so much better..my body doesn't ache anymore from all the extra weight and I just signed up to a gym so I'm hoping to start that this week. The only I guess bad thing is that my anemia was very low. I had to go for intravenous Iron therapy for almost two months every week. I go for my checkup next month to see how my levels hold. My hair has also started to fall out in the last two weeks...it's so depressing especially since my hair is already thin..but I just keep the faith that I know this will pass..I expected it..I just hope it goes away soon..as far as sizes...I used to wear a 20-22 pants size and now I'm in a 14 that's already starting to get loose...shirts I used to be an XXL and now I'm between a Medium and Large depending on the shirt..I don't regret doing this and if I would have known what I know now I would have done this a long time ago..I'm greatful that everything has gone good so far and I'm just hoping things will get better as more weight comes off..good luck to you all..and congrats on your accomplishments!
